Take a step back into an era of vintage motorcycles. The Triumph Tiger T110. This legendary two-wheeled beauty is a symbol of a time when motorcycles were crafted with meticulous attention to detail. From its iconic design to its powerful performance, the Tiger T110 is an embodiment of classic motoring at its finest.

This 1953 Triumph Tiger T110 is a masterpiece of old-fashioned styling. Sleek lines, flowing curves and enduring design. The chrome accents on the headlamp bowl, the exhaust pipes, the chrome laced wheels all hang together very well. The Gloss Black paintwork, decorated with classic emblems and badges, adds that touch of individuality and nostalgia.

Swing a leg over the Triumph Tiger T110 and settle into the rare single seat and you’ll find yourself transported to a bygone era. The handlebars, perfectly positioned for optimal control. Every touchpoint, from the polished controls to the switches and levers, bears that hallmark of classic Triumph.

Beneath the stylish exterior lies the heart and soul of the Triumph Tiger T110, the engine. The bike is powered by a healthy 650cc parallel-twin engine. The mechanical components of the Triumph Tiger T110 were crafted with precision and built to last. The suspension, a blend of classic design and (at that time) modern engineering, provided a smooth and controlled ride.

Like many classic British motorcycles in the 1950s, the USA was a massive market. The Triumph Tiger 110 650 cc OHV Twin was Triumph’s fastest production motorcycle. It was developed for the American market, which wanted more power. The T110 was first built in 1953 and introduced as a 1954 model. This one went straight to America.

It was repatriated around 2019 by our vendor’s uncle. He was an engineer by trade and having previously built around 100 classic motorcycles, this was his next task.

  • Matching numbers bike
  • Letter from Triumph Owners Club
  • Rare original single seat
  • Registered 1953 making it an early model
  • New tyres

While unfortunately there isn’t an extensive amount of paperwork, our vendor does have a file which will come with the Triumph. He was given to understand this rare single seat version of the T110 may have been a one-off Police or other emergency vehicle. In any event, you’ll see from the Gallery, the classic T110 speaks for itself.

Our view

This Triumph Tiger T110 embodies the spirit of adventure and freedom that is synonymous with classic motorcycles. Each ride becomes a journey, an event, where the sights, sounds, and sensations remind you of a simpler era. Whether cruising through town or winding along country roads, the Triumph Tiger T110 delivers a visceral experience that transcends boundaries of time. In a world where modern motorcycles strive for innovation and cutting-edge technology, the Tiger T110 stands as a testament to the continued appeal of classic motorcycles.

It is no surprise that Triumph reinvented the T100 Series as part of their run modern retros. It is reported to be one of their top sellers. But nothing can match the original.
