I am the 2nd owner of this lovely 1981 Porsche 911 SC and bought it at the end of 2021.
The first owner kept it on the road until 1984 (as per the tax disc). It was then sold to a friend who never registered it. He just parked in his heated garage for the next 37 years and never moved it.
When I bought it, a complete recommissioning job was needed – with the brakes being freed up, a new petrol tank was fitted together with a new set of tyres. The old tyres were like new.. but definitely wouldn’t have been legal!
The car has never been restored and can only be described as a 41 year-old brand new car. It is probably the lowest mileage 1981 Porsche in the world!
I also have a 1967 Austin Cooper S which has only done 600 miles since a comprehensive restoration. A photo of both cars together is in the gallery.
