Do pop and see me from time to time to see what I’ve been up to, and let me know what you’d like to hear about!

Bluebell’s first Test Drive and Happy 1st Birthday.. to us!

With the festivities well and truly over, it’s time to start planning the year ahead. The Team Evoke diary is already starting to fill up as we hope to attend lots of events this year with our own classics. Bluebell, Joanne’s Triumph Herald, is in the workshop getting lots of TLC in readiness for show season, we really can’t wait to get out and about in our motors! Remember to let us know if you are organising a classic event so that we can add it to our Events page for you free of charge. Watch us take Bluebell on [...]

Thank you.. and have a Happy 2023!

Have you found enough drawer space for all the new socks that Santa delivered? 😉 So, that’s that for another year! I hope you had a super smashing day with your loved ones and managed to bag yourself a few nice pressies. I treated myself to a lovely new diff for the Ital, how exciting is that? I’ll be at the Restoration Show at the NEC in March where the team from the Morris Marina Club and Ital Register will be fitting the diff for me on the club stand. Of course, I’ll be helping them making sure they [...]

Have a very Merry one!

With just two sleeps left until the big day, it’s time for us all here at Evoke Classics to say a massive Merry Christmas to you, yes YOU! We hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with Turkey, sprouts, party hats and car related pressies. It’s time to overindulge without feeling guilty, so spoil yourself and enjoy! 😉... Christmas Opening Times After such a fantastic year most of the team will be taking a break to enjoy the festive period. Yes we will miss you terribly but don't fret as few of us will be looking after the team [...]

John from Rochdale, Will Young and the Man from Del Monte

Not long now ‘til the big fella in the red suit makes his annual visit. For some of our customers though, Christmas came a little early as they’ve already taken delivery of their ‘pressies’. The aptly coloured BMW M3 Convertible found a lovely new home earlier this month and was transported down country by one of our recommended vehicle movers, John from Rochdale Auto Rescue. We had great feedback about John from the vendor and buyer of the Beamer, so he defo deserves a big shout out from us. I’m not sure if he offers a gift wrapping service [...]

Car Journey, Car stories and some lovely new lots

Crikey! I love my job. I’m over at the Great British Car Journey in Derbyshire today where I’ve been invited to drive a selection of their vehicles including the mighty Austin 7. How could I resist such an invitation! I’ll be filming with my good pal Paul Woodford so I’m sure there will be plenty of laughs, and hopefully some entertaining footage...I’ll keep you posted. Check out some of the cars that I’ll be driving today… We want to hear your stories Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with a lovely lady who reached out to us [...]

Great British Motor Shows and dates for your (Evoke) Calendar!

A dry Sunday last weekend meant a last run out for Ivan the Ital, just a steady pootle around the North York Moors. He’s now tucked up for winter and looking forward to being pampered a little in readiness for next year's show season, including... Great British Motor Shows announce new locations for 2023 Great British Motor Shows have just released their dates for next year, adding an extra seven locations to their usual calendar of events. Out & About, get ready for a Classic Advent

Our friends at Historics are holding their last auction of the year tomorrow, Saturday 26th November, at Mercedes Benz World. There’s a rather tasty Zodiac going under the hammer which has been featured in Classic Ford magazine and is said to be the ‘best preserved Mk3 in the world’. I’ll be watching with interest! Check out what else they’re offering: Museums A'Plenty I’ll be making the most of the bad weather over the next few weeks by visiting some of our fabulous classic car museums for a good old mooch. There’s always plenty to see and of course, many [...]

Gift Ideas Galore!

Sorry for mentioning it…but it’s only five weeks ‘til Christmas! Don’t worry, shopping isn’t my favourite thing to do either, unless it’s for car related stuff. Obvs! If you’re struggling to find something to put on your list to Santa, or have ‘no clue’ what to buy great uncle Frank with the Hillman Hunter, here's a few ideas to get you in the Christmas spirit… Car club merchandise Many car clubs tend to sell printed T-shirts, keyrings, hats and other merchandise perfect for a classic enthusiast, plus it’s a great way of supporting the smaller clubs who depend on [...]

It only seems five minutes ago that show season was starting and yet here we are at the NEC Classic Motor Show, the season finale of the classic industry. Oh how time flies! Team Evoke are in Hall Two with the iconic Renault Estafette Instacam Van (see below for auction details), so come and find us for a chin wag and a cheeky snap! Where else can you find me at the NEC? Oddball Classics, CRM Magazine and our first Calendar

Last week’s auction of the Hammond Microcar collection at Charterhouse saw some teeny tiny cars achieve some massive results. The pocket sized Peel P50 managed a whopping hammer price of £85,000. Small but mighty eh    Odd Balls If peculiar cars are your thing (yep, my hand is up) let me introduce you to a fab website Below the Radar which showcases the weird and wonderful of the motoring world. The site is bursting with info on often forgotten oddities, concepts, prototypes and small scale production cars such as the Fuji Cabin and the Mohs Safarikar. Both of which [...]
