The Honda Odyssey ATV is a hybrid four-wheeler that was produced from 1977 to 1985. Its full roll cage, low ground clearance, and aircraft-like steering ‘wheel’ made it a huge success. Full of innovations, the 342cc third gen FL was the final and best version.

The Honda Odyssey FL 350R was built for only one year in 1985. It was ahead of its time in many aspects. One of the greatest benefits is that the transmission has a reverse gear, a feature unheard of in ATVs at that time. And with electric start as standard.

Drivetrain

Power is delivered via a three-speed transmission. The Honda Odyssey FL 350 included reverse in its gearbox; a first for ATVs in the ’80s.

Tyres, brakes and suspension

Rear suspension was added to the FL 350 in 1985 to make the quad more stable. Front and rear brakes were changed to hydraulic and discs, replacing the old mechanical drums. Fuel capacity increased for the 1985 model.
