Historic Rally Car Register Open Day at Gaydon

The Historic Rally Car Register (HRCR) is celebrating a significant milestone this year, and they’re kicking off their calendar with this traditional season-opening event at the British Motor Museum.

The HRCR helps bring together various forms of motorsport, including a full schedule of scenic tours, speed series and stage rallies to make up the 6 HRCR championships that take place around the country throughout the year. In 2024, the Register is celebrating 40 years, and they are getting their ruby anniversary celebration off to a flying start this January! The HRCR Open Day 2024 is set to feature several iconic rally cars dating back to the earliest days of the sport, along with some of the earliest clubs and groups that would evolve into the historic rallying club landscape as we know it today.

This event is a social gathering that club members and many in the historic rally community won’t want to miss. If you love rallying, this event is a great chance to see a selection of iconic historic rally cars from the 1950s through to the 1980s. You can also register for HRCR’s 2024 events, meet old and new friends in the rallying community and talk to organisers of the events in the HRCR Championships.

The Open Day has become a ‘must-go’ event for any rally enthusiast. It offers a wonderful chance to mix with like-minded rallying fans as well as discover all the details of the events that are scheduled for the forthcoming historic rallying season.
