Sadly, some on-line auctions buyers use a little bit of sneaky software to enter a bid in the very final nano-seconds of the auction to try and pip others without giving them a chance to respond. So to make sure everyone plays fair, if a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of an auction on our platform, we extend the auction by another 2 minutes for each subsequent bid.
This gives everyone a chance to place their bids and gives sellers a chance to sell to the true high bidder. #Fairness
