The Deux Chevaux Club of Great Britain – affectionately known to all as ‘2CVGB’ – was founded in 1978 by and for owners and enthusiasts of the Citroën 2CV and the other A-Series vehicles including the Dyane, Ami, Méhari and Bijou, and the commercial variants such as the Fourgonnette, Acadiane, also the H Van which is technically not an A-Series vehicle, however is very much in the spirit.

During the 1990s, when the 2CV was at the height of its popularity in the UK, membership soared to over 3,500. Once production ceased, however, and the vehicles are becoming fewer in number on the roads, membership has levelled off at around 2,700 members worldwide, showing there’s still a lot of affection for the ‘ugly duck’ and its cousins. 2CVs are a life-long passion, and many families are now on their second generation of 2CV owners.

2cvGB has a large number of active local groups, if you’re based in mainland UK or Northern Ireland then you’re bound to find a source of friendly banter & technical support within a reasonable distance from home.

As a club we also operate a spare parts scheme, manufacturing hard to find spares which prove invaluable to keeping our cars where they belong – on the road!

We also operate an events diary with both local and national events taking place throughout the year.
