I was brought up with vintage cars and bicycles from an early age. I apprenticed as a toolmaker with injection mould tools and then worked for Muffett Gears making tools and prototypes. During that time, I went through college with City & Guilds and then an HNC in mechanical and production engineering.
In 1998 I decided to branch out on my own and have worked on a large number of projects in many fields.
My passion though is old machinery and I get pleasure in getting parts made and restored and working as intended. For the Salmson I do not only make the spares I use them.
