My partner Julia and I have owned a 1979 Shadow 11 for 16 years. It was converted to a Landaulette body in 1992 by a small business in Kent.
We are members of the RREC and attend many meetings, runs and picnics with them.
It has been a pleasure to be an owner, sorry, custodian of this beautiful British motor car . She’s been no more expensive to run as many modern cars, but what a way to travel! When I say she I should say Ella, she was given that name by our good friend David who we purchased her from after Ella Fitzgerald, as she oozes style, class and sophistication. Sadly David is no longer with us as he passed away in July 2022. She is a fabulous car. Athenian Blue with cream hood and Beige West of England Wool interior.
