Applications opened this week for a very special and unique scholarship, inspired by the late Bob Rutherford.
Open to 14-24 year olds, this one year scholarship promises to support and improve the skills of a rising young navigator in the world of historic rallying. Fabulous, just fabulous. What a super opportunity for any young, enthusiastic individual with their sights set on becoming a top flight rally navigator!

I’m not sure they’ll be able to promise wall to wall sunshine, but the team at the world famous Ace Café, London, are hosting an event this Sunday, 29th January to celebrate Australia Day. With prizes promised for the ‘Best Aussie Car’ and ‘Best Dressed Aussie’, it sounds like it’s going to be a bonza day!
Race Retro
If like me, you’re too old to apply for the scholarship, don’t worry…you’ll be able to get your motorsport fix later this month at Race Retro, Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.
The event takes place on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th February and will be jam packed with iconic cars from all eras and disciplines of motorsport, including formula and circuit racing, rallying and hill climb. For more information and tickets click on Race Retro below

The fab BMW R80 found a new home this week, aswell as the Jaguar XJ8.
