A recently released economic impact study of the classic motor vehicle industry has caught many by surprise.  The study reveals that Britain is a world leader in the sector.
Britain employs nearly 120,000 people in the classic car industry with a gross turnover of an unbelievable, £18.3bn! More than fishing? The study goes on to detail that on average a classic car enthusiast in Britain travels around 1,200 miles per year and spends on average around £8,000 a year on their pride and joy. As Governments here and on the Continent continue to bash out a Brexit deal let’s hope they keep one eye on our little £18bn hobby!
