As well as all the new classics up for auction, I’m rather excited about the weeks ahead.
I’ve packed my sun cream and checked that my passport is still valid in readiness for my trip down to the big smoke for the MCN Motorcycle Show at the Excel. Only pulling your leg, I realise I won’t need my sun cream just yet 😊
The show promises to be jam packed with visual goodies, live action displays, trade stands full of lids and leathers, the latest models from the major manufacturers and my favourite …. Fire-Up Friday, where all kinds of bikes from stock and modified road bikes to full on racing machines are fired up for all of London to hear.
One of my main reasons for visiting this year is to catch-up with the guys and gals at SERV Surrey & London, a charity organisation made up entirely from volunteers. These fabulous folk transport blood products, urgent samples and medical supplies, as well as making a daily delivery of blood to the Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex. All of this, with no cost to the NHS. Amazing eh? Not all superheroes wear capes, some simply ride motorcycles!
