Last week, fifty years after it rolled off the production line, the final Morris Minor returned to Cowley where it was built.
This remarkable achievement was the result of the immense efforts of a group of volunteers from the Morris Minor Owners Club. The team worked all sorts of hours over the last four years to bring the Minor back to its original factory condition. When they started, after the vehicle had languished in field for some time, the task looked nigh-on impossible. The finished article is nothing short of staggering. Another Minor saved.
