There’s a certain event happening this weekend that’s caught my eye. Being a Hull girl who loves something a little bit quirky, one of the last events of the year for the IFA Club really does appeal!

Red Oktober Humberside will see the club celebrating the best of Eastern Bloc motoring in and around the wonderful city of Hull. With visits to the city’s Streetlife Museum and Doncaster’s South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum they are bound to cause a stir with their bold looking cars.

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing a convoy of Barkas, Trabants and Wartburgs cruising across the Humber Bridge. Now that’s sure to be a sight!

The weather up North has got decidedly colder, I reckon it won’t be long before we have to tuck our classics away and start on those winter jobs. Remember to check out our Trade Directory if you are looking for someone to help with getting your classic in tip top condition.
