The TR Drivers Club with TR Spares have produced a neat fix for one of the TR7s Achilles heel.
Working with Ex-Pressed Steel they have manufactured a batch of front assembly panels. This is the area which incorporates the mounting for the pop-up headlamps, comprising not one but two pressings. It is problematic for any TR7 owner as it is one of the first parts of the car to rot away. This became an even bigger problem when British Motor Heritage disposed of its tooling a few years ago. The TR Driver Club have not stood still after this success. Their next project, will be a repair section for the front wing – another part which rots nicely!
