Another week, another newsletter. But don’t worry, I am NOT going to mention the price of fuel…😫 but I am heading out of Yorkshire..

Down South…

I’m back in the South this weekend as I join our friends at Historics for their first sale of the year on 12th March at Ascot Racecourse.

As usual, they have a superb selection of classics going under the hammer. My pick of the auction has to be Lot 113, the 1964 Ford Zodiac, which is being sold with no reserve. I’ve always loved the lines of the MK3, so when Historics asked if I’d like to take it for a spin there was no stopping me and I can tell you – it drove like a dream. Take a look at their catalogue and see what tickles your fancy.

Next Stop..The Midlands

Team Evoke will be heading to Birmingham next week to attend the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show at the NEC which takes place 18th – 20th March.

An event which really does kickstart the classic car calendar by fetching together 1000’s of cars, 100’s of clubs and exhibitors all under one huge roof. There will be plenty of shiny people there too, with on stage discussions, interviews and Q&A’s with famous folk like Mike Brewer, Ant Anstead, Fuzz Townshend, Richard Hammond, plus many others. First on my list of stands to visit though will be the Morris Marina Owners Club & Ital Register…obviously.

More info and tickets can be found HERE.
