Here is “Miss Molly” she’s a Morris Minor from 5th May 1966, I bought her in 2023, on her 57th birthday.
Miss Molly, has been driven on Ærø, Denmark. It was an old lady called Molly who bought her and she drove it until she was 89 years old, at which age her children suggested that she should not have a driving license anymore, and they took it away. But Molly was a stubborn woman, so she drove on for another year, luckily you could do that on Ærø!
But when she turned 90, her children sold the car to Ivan in North Jutland, and he had “Miss Molly” for 10 years – he had an MG sports car, but it was only a 2-seater, so he bought Miss Molly to be able to drive with the grandchildren, so there were harnesses added to the rear seat.
Ivan and his friend renovated the engine 2 years ago, and it purrs like a cuddly cat, I have now got my dream car and have started a completely new chapter in my life! For more info, please see Miss Molly’s website: www.miss-molly-1966.com
