The classic events calendar is really starting to ramp-up now, so make sure you get plenty of shows pencilled into your diary.
I’ll be staying in Yorkshire this Sunday, 28th April, for the Wakefield Classic & American Car & Bike Show. Held right in the heart of the city, it’s a super show which attracts a real eclectic mix of classics.
Booking isn’t essential, just turn up before 10 a.m. and donate a fiver to display your vehicle. All proceeds will go to the Wakefield Hospice. I’ll be there to help choose the top ten cars of the day and present the trophies, so fingers crossed for some sunshine!
Car Boot sale
This weekend also sees the return of the Classic Car Boot Sale, Kings Cross. A vintage and pre-owned enthusiasts paradise, the two day event promises over a hundred vintage fashion traders, street food, craft beers, live music, and classic vehicles of course!

So we have a very cheeky little number ending today, with a high bid that’s currently under reserve at £10,000. This Fiesta XR2 Mk2 is a nut and bolt restoration in a rare crystal blue.
