Spring has finally sprung, hurrah! It was so good to get the Ital out last weekend while the sun shone and, after a much needed spruce up, we whizzed over to the local Super Car meet. Yep, that’s right, Super Cars…don’t worry, Ivan held his own magnificently 😊 !!!

Retro Rides

The fab team at Retro Rides have announced they will be returning to the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit for the Retro Rides Weekender on 21st and 22nd May 2022. An event that promises to champion the diversity of the UK retro car scene with everything from resto-mods to radical customs, drifters to retro daily’s and hot rods to hot hatches. A show for enthusiasts with an open mind and a passion for their cars, sounds perfect.

Event Director, David Murphy said:

As the show has reached a wider audience, we’ve found a deep-felt enthusiasm for our unique way of having fun with cars. We love that a late 90’s Nissan Micra can rub shoulders with classic super cars or the latest top level resto mod. It’s all about that enthusiasm for cars!

It certainly is David, it certainly is!

As well as the static displays, there will be plenty of live on-track action taking place on the circuit throughout the weekend with the point to point Sprint on the Saturday and the Auto Solo trials on the Sunday. Fancy having a spin on the Goodwood circuit? Applications for taking part in the on-track fun and frolics are opening soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Tickets for this great event are on sale now, so check out their website HERE to find out more about the daytime entertainment, trade stands, food stalls and weekend camping.
