Have you got your bunting out yet?
There’s sure to be plenty of partying this weekend as the masses join in with the coronation celebrations. What a historical moment for us all to witness eh? Plus, the supermarkets will be really quiet if you need to nip out and do your shopping…bonus.
The team at Brooklands Museum are throwing a bit of a bash on Sunday 7th May with their Best of British Show. Celebrating 100 years of MG and Aston Martin Razor Blade along with 75 years of Land Rover, they will be welcoming a whole host of British built vehicles.
There’ll be fun for all the family too, with fairground rides, brass band, a Royal Punch and Judy show, and more…that’s the way to do it!
Landy Action
The British Motor Museum at Gaydon will also be celebrating 75 years of Land Rover this weekend with a fab two day event on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th May.
The show will boast hundreds of Landy’s including Defenders, Discoverys, Range Rovers and Series 1-3, plus a selection of trade stands.
Great British Motor Shows at Ripon Racecourse
Jo and I are taking our classics out for a spin to Ripon Racecourse on Sunday 7th May where Great British Motor Shows are hosting their annual event.
It’s always a grand day out with plenty of lovely metal to look at, autojumble to rummage through and good grub. Jo is rather excited as it’ll be her first run out in Bluebell the Herald, so do come and say hello if you see us.
