The Brooklands Sunbeam 100 celebrates the centenary of the Sunbeam Motorcycle Club. Brooklands Sunbeam 100 will be aimed at all pre-1940 motorcycles which aligns with both the classic Brooklands motorsport era and the Sunbeam MCC’s eligibility criteria.
The Sunbeam MCC was formed in 1924, initially as a one-make club but it soon opened up membership to all makes. The Club has always been affiliated to the ACU, and was historically active in the sporting world, with much interaction at Brooklands in the twenties and thirties.
Nowadays, the club caters for all makes of pre-1940 machines, the main focus is The Pioneer Register, the register of authenticity for veteran (pre-1915) machines.
