There’s been a lot of water falling from the sky in Yorkshire recently, most of which has unfortunately found its way into the nearside headlight of the Ital. It now resembles a rather fancy fish tank, so I’ve got the Haynes manual out and repairs are imminent!

Prescott Hill Climb

Saturday 28th May will witness my first visit to the Prescott Speed Hill Climb for the Bugatti Owners’ Club brand new event, Prescott Historique.
Showcasing nine decades of hill climbing, they will be welcoming cars and bikes from the early 1900’s right up to 1990, everything from an Austin 7 to a Mallock single seater and all things in between.

I reckon I’m going to see plenty of machines that I’ve never laid eyes on before…epic! I’ll be there with my ‘AoHE Sustainable Skills Ambassador’ Home – AoHE hat on and will be joined by the very lovely Dom Chinea from the BBC’s Repair Shop and Marc Allum from the Antique Roadshow. You will probably find us having a right good mooch around the paddock, oooing and ahhhing at all the loveliness!
